Mole Mole Mole Mole

Hope you guys had a wonderful Spring Break. This week it is about Mole . It is a Mexican dish, it is chicken cover with a chocolate sauce. Yup it is chicken covered in chocolate! YUM!!! Well, the chocolate is not what is important to the sauce, it just gives it that dark color along with the other ingredients in the sauce.
Put it is not simple to create the signature sauce. The easiest part of making it is the chicken. The sauce requires various peppers, herbs, seeds, spices, and Mexican Drinking Chocolate to create so a tasty sauce.
It is something different that i recommend trying.

Ceviche

Earlier this week I had a dish called Ceviche, which is basically fish that is marinated in a lot of lemon juice. The fish is diced up, diced tomato, onion, jalapeno, and cilantro. Put all that in a bowl and then squeeze some lemons ( as many as you want) and put the cover bowl in the refrigerator and let is stay there for a day. Next day it should be ready to eat with some tostadas.

El Salvador Pupusas

Pupusas are a Salvadorian food that I enjoy. Pupusas are made with:
  •  handmade corn tortillas
  • Can be filled with
    • refried beans
    • Chicharron
    • cheese
    • chicken
Pupusas are usually served with repollo or pickled cabbage and tomato sauce. Usually pupusas are cooked on a flat skillet. There are Pupuseria's in the Houston area, although I have never tried those. Usually I eat pupusas when my aunt makes them for a party or to raise money.
